The following ECG is from an 18 year old man who has presented with palpitations and left sided chest pain.
Interpretation:
- Rate: 90
- Rhythm: NSR
- Axis: 0-90 Normal
- Morphology: subtle infrlat STE as below
- Intervals: PR 180 QRS 80 QTC 440
- Summary: 1mm STE inferior leads and to a lesser extent in lateral leads V3-V6
- Don’t forget illicit drug history in young patients!
