The AP ankle x-rays shows a displaced fracture of the lateral process of the talus. There is also an avulsion fracture of the lateral malleolus. There is significant soft tissue swelling over the malleoli.

CT scan of the right ankle showed significant tear in the anterior talofibular ligament in addition to comminuted fracture of the lateral malleolus and fracture of the lateral process of the talus.

The patient was managed conservatively.
