o rupture in 65 – 75% before the age of 50
– cardiac valve disease – mitral valve prolapse, AR – 25 – 30%
– coronary aneurysms
– aortic root dilatation / thoracic aortic aneurysm / aortic regurgitation
– haemorrhage + rupture
o into the collecting system with large haematuria
o perirenal haematoma
o retroperitoneal haematoma
So, if you see PCKD + headache have a low threshold to investigate for SAH.
